En el marco de la celebración del 4 de julio, Hábitat para la Humanidad Paraguay desea reconocer el apoyo constante de oficinas hermanas de EE.UU.
Hábitat para la Humanidad conforma una red global de oficinas regionales de todos los Estados Unidos y organizaciones en más de 40 países alrededor del mundo.
Todos estos equipos de trabajo comparten una clara visión, que cada familia tenga un lugar adecuado donde vivir, y que las familias prosperen viviendo con dignidad, seguridad y resiliencia.
La oficina de Hábitat para la Humanidad en Paraguay, pronto celebrará 25 años de trabajo en el país y quiere reconocer, en esta oportunidad, el apoyo sostenido de afiliados y donantes de EE.UU.
Desde el proyecto Hábitat adecuado para el educador que posteriormente dio inicio a otra iniciativa denominada “Por el futuro de nuestros niños y niñas”, así como emprendimientos innovadores como Women Build (Mujeres Construyen), la Primera brigada latinoamericana a EE.UU. y la Brigada de voluntarios a Lesotho y posteriormente el Virtual Build (Construcción virtual) en el marco de la pandemia. Son solo algunos momentos importantes en la historia de la organización en Paraguay.
Actualmente, el trabajo que se realiza en Paraguay recibe el apoyo de las oficinas de Blue Ridge (VA), Central Minnesota (MN), Chaffee County (CO), Colorado Lakewood (CO), Dorchester (SC), Fort Collins (CO), Gunnison Valley (CO), Monroe County (MI), St Vrain Valley (CO), Summit y Wasatch (UT), Lee y Hedry Counties (FL), Macomb County (MI).
El apoyo de las oficinas afiliadas no podría resumirse en recursos financieros para atender a más familias sino abarca diferentes iniciativas que demuestra un gran compromiso hacia el país, como la movilización de voluntarios, el apoyo a campañas específicas de emergencia, los vínculos con sus propios aliados, el intercambio de conocimientos y muchos espacios de encuentro y amistad.
De esta manera, la organización Hábitat para la Humanidad Paraguay agradece a todos los colaboradores de Hábitat para la Humanidad en EE.UU, Canadá y Oficinas Nacionales de América Latina. que permitieron llegar a más de 10.000 familias con oportunidades de viviendas adecuadas,asequibles y sostenibles. 9 AFFILIATES FROM THE US SUPPORT HABITAT FOR HUMANITY’S WORK IN PARAGUAY
In the framework of the 4th of July celebrations, Habitat for Humanity Paraguay wants to show its appreciation for the constant support of the sister organizations in the USA.
Habitat for Humanity forms a global network of regional offices throughout the United States and organizations in more than 40 countries worldwide.
All work teams share a clear vision that every family should have a decent place to live and thrive living with dignity, security, and resilience.
The Habitat for Humanity office in Paraguay will soon celebrate 25 years of work in the country and would like to acknowledge, on this occasion, the sustained support of US affiliates and donors.
From the project, a decent habitat for the educator that later started another initiative called «For the future of our children». Also, innovative initiatives such as Women Build, the First Latin American Brigade to the US and the Volunteer Brigade to Lesotho or the Virtual Build in the framework of the pandemic. These are just some moments in the history of the organization in Paraguay.

We can’t summarize the support of the affiliates in financial resources to serve more families, but rather encompasses different initiatives that show commitment towards the country, such as the mobilization of volunteers, support for specific emergency campaigns, links with their own allies, the exchange of knowledge and many meeting and friendship spaces.
In this way, the organization Habitat for Humanity Paraguay thanks all the collaborators of Habitat for Humanity in the US, Canada and National Office in Latin America that allowed us to reach more than 10,000 families with opportunities to build decent, affordable and sustainable homes.
